Montana Queer Alliance
At MQA, our mission is to uplift the safety, identity, and well-being of LGBTQIA2s+ and BIPOC people across rural and tribal Montana by providing culturally responsive advocacy and care and community-driven programs that build long-term relationships and resilience. We do justice oriented work through community care: removing barriers, reducing harm, and building community led pathways to safety, stability, and belonging across rural and tribal Montana.

Common Ground Housing, Prickly Pear Rapid Testing, our therapy and support groups, and resource supports are part of one goal: justice in practice. That means meeting urgent needs today while strengthening the relationships, shared tools, and community leadership that prevent harm tomorrow. We do not work in isolation. We work alongside community members and partners to create access that is culturally responsive, low barrier, and rooted in respect.

We center the voices of those most marginalized, promoting healing, resilience, and justice through compassionate care, advocacy, and community connection.
